The diesel generator sets supply power to the drilling rig and the energy storage battery at the same time, and the EMS system determines the number of generator sets to use based on the operating conditions, and determines that the energy storage batteries should be in charging or discharging mode. When the voltage of the energy storage battery is low to a certain extent, another diesel generator set will be automatically started to charge the energy storage battery, and when the battery is charged to a certain extent, one diesel generator set will be automatically stopped. The DC/DC system equipped can replace the brake chopper of the frequency conversion system, stabilize the DC bus voltage, charge and discharge the energy storage battery through the DC bus, thus realizing the potential energy recovery when the drilling tool is lowered.
