Full-digital Variable Frequency Control System of Mine Hoist
Range of Application and Use
The hoist in coal and non-ferrous metal mines is used for transport of workers, materials, ore and minerals, and regarded as one of the four important running equipments in mining. Traditionally, metal resistor is inserted in the circuit of motor rotor, and drum controller or contactor is used to cut off the resistor for speed regulation. The control devices are weak as below: high energy consumption of resistor, difficulty in heat dissipation; step speed regulation of resistor, open-loop control, narrow range of speed regulation, low precision and poor safety performance; power brake DC power supply or low-frequency power supply is required in the process of slowing down or lowering, thus causing damages to equipments and heavy consumption of electric energy. In addition, the original control system, incomplete in protection and poor in reliability, is a serious constraint on safety in production of mines. Therefore, manufacturers are badly expected to develop a new type drive system that is safe, reliable, high in performance and power saving. This full-digital variable frequency control system of mine hoist has basically solved all weak points of the original electrical system of resistance speed regulation, pushing the mine hoist drive system to a higher level.
